We hope these tools will help you deepen your relationship with Christ.
Free digital Bible for your phone. It's user-friendly with bible audio.
Free. More difficult to use, but with more features than Blue Letter. Maps & audio.
5 min bible study section with chapter by chapter printable outlines, video and maps. Great if you are just starting out.
My favorite use for these sites is commentary(verse explanation) and verse look up (don't forget to read before and after for context):
Bible Hub (Preferred, Many different commentary sources present in one place): https://biblehub.com/
Bible Study Tools(drop down menu top left): https://www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/
Bible Gateway(many additional resources): https://www.biblegateway.com/resources
Bible Ref (Very well organized): https://www.bibleref.com
This AI has a lot of potential. When testing it has been accurate in regard to scripture on some controversial topics. Chat GPT is a good resource and generally only the free version is needed(Ai does use points that confirm your bias so be careful)
Generally maps are best found via google searches of the book/verse you are on. 2Belikechrist.com has chapter by chapter maps. Logos Bible Software also have verse/mapping capabilities.
Many bible versions, many language, free. Bibles ranging from the 1600's to present. Side by side available for Greek and Hebrew. Able to highlight a text in English and will highlight in the separate language side by side. (Available offline and downloadable USB bibles for areas where people of faith are persecuted) Another interesting bible to have reading along side the KJV is: https://drbo.org/ Duey Rhymes( From Latin vulgate, but it is older than the KJV and contains 7 additional books)
Blue Letter and Logos Bible Software apps give better options for audio in our opinion.
An amazing free resources for books in the public domain. Add content has increased, watch where you click.
Most Bible audio here in preferred versions have the books separated. Devotionals and sermons can be found by searching.
Audible generally requires purchase. Another drawback is that chapters tend not to be labeled except 1- 200 plus with no book name list to manually pic from.
A favorite method for our bible study is to combine chapter by chapter sermons, with 2BelikeChrist 5min chapter studies and some maps onto a word document.
Depicts the story of Daniel, who remains faithful to God amidst challenges in Babylon, including the lions' den.
A dramatization of the life of Joseph, son of Jacob, highlighting his journey from slavery to becoming a ruler in Egypt
Follows the life of David, from his youth as a shepherd to his reign as king of Israel.
Add a short description. Chronicles the life of the prophet Jeremiah, who delivers God's messages to Jerusalem despite opposition.
Focuses on the Apostle John's visions as depicted in the Book of Revelation.
Using the tools above, you can host a bible study. It's as simple as calling a friend on the phone, a face-time, or a messenger video to bring someone along with your personal study. 2Belikechrist.com 5min studies are great to have handy.
For larger groups, a website/app called Jitsi Meet is useful. The host can send a link allowing those on a computer or phone to join a video/audio meeting without signing up or downloads.
***Personally we have a preference of KJV or Confraternity bibles, but some language can be difficult to others, especially if its not their first language. While certain translations leave things out, getting the overall message is the goal so when teaching others different versions should be considered.
Another useful app for bible study gathering, Telegram. Easy to make a group and host video studies from that chat room.
